Stage-ervaringen van Tobias Irschik 

I chose to do my Internship at Van Den Borne Aardappelen to get an insight in the latest agricultural technology.

In the four weeks where I was there, I was able to get a good insight into the workflow of a highly digitized farm.
The goal of my internship was to get to know how new technology can be used to work more efficient and also improve yield. One of my tasks was taking samples of the potatoes. I also did some field work and maintenance on the farm.
The highlight were the Precision days at the end of my internship, where robots and other interesting machines were displayed.

I really enjoyed the time on the Farm. I was allowed to work independent and if I had questions every colleague took time to explain everything in detail. Thank you!
