Internship experiences Teun Timmermans

I already know Van Den Borne Potatoes from various collaborations in precision farming with our company at home Agritip precision farming. Van de Borne is the front runner when it comes to precision agriculture and the company where they have all kinds of data for my research question: How did I get the data to the farmer, so this was a perfect company. I did my research in 5 weeks comparing all types of data and figuring out how best to get it to the farmer through cloud farming and platforms like Crop-R.



During my internship I also scanned a lot of soil. This was also a good basis for my research because soil is the start of the new season. I did this with the kubota and dualem 21 H bottom scanner and with the Fendt and Dualem 21 HS bottom scanner so I could also see the differences.

   
I had a very fun and educational time at van de Borne and I assume that we will work together more often in the future. The precision farming world is small and if you really know all about wildlife and combine it with working on the farm this is a perfect company.
